Directivity Control

Like our larger horn-based models, FRIGG 02 runs a directivity-controlled tweeter. Patented DXT technology delivers that control from a compact waveguide, holding an even sound character across its working area.
The Tweeter

Coupled to the DXT waveguide is a dome tweeter developed with Norwegian company SEAS. The dome is a Metamodal Spread Tow Carbon Fiber design — TPCD — engineered to combat modal behavior in the dome itself.
The Midrange

Where classic meets progression. With SEAS, we paired a hand-coated paper cone on a 26mm titanium former and an inverted surround with a modern low-distortion motor system. The result: low distortion, beautiful tone.
The Woofer

To match the midrange, we again brought our vision to the engineers at SEAS. A hand-coated cone on a 52mm titanium former and a large motor structure secure deep, dynamic bass.
The Crossover

Heart or brain? It's both. The crossover controls the drivers and sets the speaker's character. We reject the idea that one topology beats all — it just limits the result. FRIGG 02 uses a hybrid low-order design, tuned by measurement and long listening, built for real rooms, not lab conditions. High-quality parts throughout.
The Enclosure

Top-quality drivers, crossovers and parts only take you part of the way. The enclosure carries the rest.
The FRIGG 02 enclosure is built to be the best possible housing acoustically and mechanically. A resonance-free sandwich design, strategically damped and braced.
