When you contact us, request a demonstration, submit a trade enquiry or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect your name, contact details, country, company and role, product interests, preferred dealer or location, and the content of your message.

When you use our website, we and our service providers may process technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, security and server logs, pages visited, referral information, and your cookie choices. Optional analytics or marketing data is processed only where you have given consent.

WHY WE USE PERSONAL DATA

We use personal data to:

• respond to enquiries and take steps at your request before entering into an agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b));

• manage demo requests, trade relationships and relevant follow-up based on our legitimate interests in operating and developing our business (Article 6(1)(f));

• operate, secure and improve the website and prevent misuse based on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f));

• comply with accounting, tax and other legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)); and

You may withdraw consent at any time. We do not use website enquiries for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH

We may share personal data with service providers that help us host and operate the website, manage email and IT services, and respond to enquiries. This includes Squarespace as our website platform. Providers processing data on our behalf may use it only under our instructions and appropriate agreements.

Where relevant to a demo or sales enquiry, we may forward your details to an authorised Ø Audio dealer or distributor in your area. We will do this only when it is reasonably expected from your request or after informing you. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal data.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some service providers may process data outside Norway or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we require a lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.

HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiry and correspondence records are normally deleted or anonymised within 24 months after the enquiry is closed, unless an ongoing customer or trade relationship, a legal obligation, or the establishment or defence of legal claims requires longer retention. Accounting records are retained for the period required by law. Cookie choices are retained for the period shown in the cookie settings.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, receive data in a portable format, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
